Prof. Dr. Jon Benskin
Jonathan Benskin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Analytical Chemistry (ACES) at Stockholm University. He holds a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Alberta (Canada) and prior to moving to Sweden he was employed as a Principal Scientist at AXYS Analytical Services Ltd and as a Visiting Scientist with Fisheries and Oceans Canada. Jon’s current research focuses on development and application of new methods for emerging environmental contaminants. He is particularly interested in organofluorine mass balance experiments using combustion ion chromatography as well as suspect/non-target screening involving high resolution mass spectrometry.
