Dr Koit Herodes
Koit Herodes works at the Institute of Chemistry, University of Tartu as associate professor of analytical chemistry. He teaches analytical chemistry, including chromatography, mass spectrometry and validation at all academic levels. His research interests include LC-MS analysis of complex samples using derivatization and novel eluent additives for improved performance. He regards validation as an integral stage of analytical method implementation. Therefore, he participates in conducting validation MOOC and development of validation software – ValChrom.
Koit is also head of Testing Centre of University of Tartu. Testing Centre is ISO 17025 accredited unit, which provides analytical services inside the University and to community.
